
Mohamed Abdelwahab (Mahdi)

Mohamed Abdelwahab (Mahdi) is a medical school graduate from Mansoura, Egypt. He has a great passion for designing and photo editing which he has practised for more than 12 years, as an amateur designer, he has volunteered in many NGOs with his designs for corporate identities, magazines, documentaries, adverts, etc.
Mahdi has always had the dream to use his own original photos in his designs so he self-learnt photography, online and through books and DVDs, and started practising in a homemade small studio with some friends, and through photography trips.
He practised most genres of photography, with a special interest in Nature landscapes, commercials, kids portraits, and Night photography.
Lately, Mahdi started working on a new photo book "Days of Egypt". His last art project is called “7 billion moments”, a series of photos sharing events in specific times to remind people they are not living alone and there are 7 billion other living souls that each has a different moment to live!
Besides his passion for photography, Mahdi is a healthcare and hospital management specialist, Global Health advisor. He is interested in health equity, community development, volunteering work, travelling and tennis.
